The Foundation wants to promote and encourage the development of adoration groups and individual adoration, which is an inseparable part of a contemplative life focused on a constant relationship with God …
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from Latin. adoratio – worship, worship
Adoration is the fundamental attitude of man who recognizes himself as a creature before his Creator. It glorifies the greatness of the Lord who created us and the omnipotence of the Savior who sets us free from evil. It is a humbling spirit before “the King of glory” (Ps 24: 9-10) and a reverent silence before God who is “ever greater”. Adoration of the three times holy and loved God above all fills us with humility and gives confidence to our prayers. (KKK, 2628)
Among the various pious practices, adoration of the sacramental Jesus is the first, after the sacraments, the most pleasing to God and the most useful for us. St. Pope John Paul II
In fact, it is only through adoration that we can mature into a deep and authentic reception of Christ. And it is precisely in this act of a personal encounter with the Lord that the social mission contained in the Eucharist matures, which aims to break down the barriers not only between the Lord and us, but also and above all the barriers that separate us from each other. Benedict XVI
Whenever I come to the chapel, I offer myself in the presence of our God and say to Him: “Lord, I am here. Tell me what would you like me to do? ” And then, I tell God whatever is on my heart. I tell him about my sorrows and joys and I listen. If you listen, God will speak to you as well. You must both speak and listen to good God. God always responds when you address Him clearly and simply. St. Katarzyna Labourē.
The time you spend with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the best time you will spend on earth. Every moment you spend with Him will deepen your relationship and make your soul more magnificent and beautiful, it will bring peace to the whole earth. St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta
When I was saying the Holy God several times during the adoration, I was overwhelmed by a more vivid presence of God and I was spiritually carried away before the majesty of God. And I saw how the angels and saints of the Lord give glory to God. This glory of God is so great that I do not want to be tempted to describe, because I cannot manage it, and therefore – that souls do not think that this is all I have written. St. Faustina
If the shepherd adores the Supreme Shepherd, then the sheep will follow the priest to their Savior and discover that they must do what is necessary for salvation and life, then they will create space for Christ and love him more. Then they will throw away from their lives what is only “worldly”.
“Then he summoned the crowd with his disciples and said to them,” If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me! ” (Mark 8:34).
To deny oneself means to forget about oneself and experience spiritual and physical suffering, offering them, for example, for the dying, for the conversion of sinners.
