Each contemplative life requires the establishment of rules – patterns that help to remain faithful to the Lord and organize the omnipresent chaos, especially the internal one. Candidates for religious life adopt the strictly imposed rules drawn up by the great founders of these congregations. It is the highest form of contemplation and spiritual life. However, although not everyone is predestined to such a life, each according to his own ability can devote himself to reflection and contemplation.

The Foundation encourages you to learn about various rules and on their basis create your own rule, adapted to our life, our work or physiology (e.g. hours of getting up)

Below are the proposed rules for the Erem Foundation:

– alcohol fasting and limiting the use of audiovisual and mobile devices are required at all times

– it is worth choosing one spiritual reading that will “guide” you throughout your concentration

– own prayers, such as the rosary, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and others should be said at times chosen by you

– On Fridays, people are encouraged to celebrate the Way of the Cross

– detachment from the current affairs of the parish or community
